Library loaner but I may need to buy my own I have a lot of anxiety and listening to Scottish voices just calmly reading poetry is soothing I'm not even rating the content because that's not what I have it for Not paying much attention tbh

The poetry was beautiful and the narration by Scots who speak the language and dialect was amazing but the poetry was presented without introduction or explanation It would have been useful at least before each poem to introduce it and include a short bio of the author Even better would have been to put it in historical or literary context I read the book for the Read Harder Challenge from Book RIot a poetry book on audio and also in preparation for our trip to Scotland
