Legendary Safari GuidesWritten by Susie CazenoveReview by Finn Daecher“Legendary Safari guides” is a book that captures the jaw dropping feel of the bush Susie Cazenove tells the reader about 26 incredible Safari guides all over Africa The way she describes their personality as well as knowledge of the outdoors makes this book a must read The story was told in a third person POV and mainly was about the guides and how they made their guest’s stay one to never forget The guides are from all over Africa but the book is mainly focused on southern Africa Some of those guides include Ralph Bousfield Map Ives Lex Hes Ivan Carter and many others I personally think that the message of this story is that no matter where you go you can always find a legendary Safari guide The only other book that Susie Cazenove has written is “Licensed to Guide” She isn’t a very famous writer but the limited books she publishes are great All of her books are nonfiction and they are all about the bush My review of this book is 8 out of 10 It is well written and I love the details that Susie Cazenove put into it but it is a little bit dull I do recommend it to everyone above the age of 10 If you are below that age I personally think you wouldn’t be able to understand it and even finish it However I love the approach that the authors takes which is focusing on the personality of the guide and not just the knowledge of their minds The writing is of extreme high uality and I would definitely read by the author I also love how this book is based on her actually going and experiencing the guides and not just researching them I think that a good book needs the author to be there in person not just on a computerSo I do recommend this book the the slightly older audience The writing is of high uality it has a good theme and the guides are truly incredible
