BlandPlot CThere was lot of build up and an explanation Carver's world and culture Carver and Vivien don't meet until 37% and that is too long for a romance Many pages from Carver's brother's pov This book reads like a sci fi with a hint of romance The solutions to any problems seemed rushed The book was anticlimactic imoCharacters CBoth Carver and Vivien were blandand there was nothing special about either oneHeat FThe few scenes were non descriptive and rushed There were no detailsThis book was bland to me There was little character development and virtually no relationship development It was just ok

This is my first read by Cristina This is a very imaginative story Lots of ideas I haven't read before and as I have been reading for a great many years that's hard to find It is a very sweet love story told against a backdrop of family betrayal and the possibility of war and genocide I was blown away by the imagination and work that went into the story We see alien genre stories and immediately think of erotica or violence This was neither and I enjoyed the lack of female violence This is about being stranded on a planet he was unfamiliar with because of betrayal

Alien Soul mate by Cristina GrenierA sweet twist on the alien finding a mate storylinejust hoping that there will be additional books continuing the characters we've met and expanding its initial beginnings I enjoyed reading it only complaint is that the ending seemed incomplete even though they were together again
