OMG I ve been a great fan of Lauren Royal This story is very close to my heart as it s one of those family drama that I ve read full heartedly Well I ve not been reading it in a synchronised way but still I have grasped each and every detail very closely.Jason is a typical alpha cum family head sort of a guy who meets his perfect half in the face of Catherine who is equally witty and strong headed Their chemistry is worth reading and all the twists are very well described.Halfway to t OMG I ve been a great fan of Lauren Royal This story is very close to my heart as it s one of those family drama that I ve read full heartedly Well I ve not been reading it in a synchronised way but still I have grasped each and every detail very closely.Jason is a typical alpha cum family head sort of a guy who meets his perfect half in the face of Catherine who is equally witty and strong headed Their chemistry is worth reading and all the twists are very well described.Halfway to the novel I was sure that this will definitely get 5 stars due to all banters, love, emotions and genuinety of the characters I just love this Chase family

This a copy of myreview First, I read this book off my Honey s tablet because I could not figure out the lend and side load instructions.I don t know if life can get any sweeter then a romance novel without all the vivid scenes yet the authors are able to keep the integrity of the story And yes, actions are implied but I think I can figure out what is about to happen, or did happen. This story isthen the chase to find an outlaw It is about two people who want nothingthen This a copy of myreview First, I read this book off my Honey s tablet because I could not figure out the lend and side load instructions.I don t know if life can get any sweeter then a romance novel without all the vivid scenes yet the authors are able to keep the integrity of the story And yes, actions are implied but I think I can figure out what is about to happen, or did happen. This story isthen the chase to find an outlaw It is about two people who want nothingthen to stay incognito and carry out the hunt One is hunting for the sake of his heart, which would be Jason Chase And the other is after a bounty, Caithren Leslie, but she is not after the type of bounty that is normally sought.Tension are high when these two meet and I really liked this angle of the story And again, yes, a HEA can be inferred but this story is written in a very entertaining and engaging form with solid descriptive of the characters, plot lines, and well researched imagery of mid 17th Century England and Scotland.Higher recommend to all readers but especially to those who love romance like me but don t need the play by play

This book, taking place in 1667, is Restoration, not Regency, but I m putting it here anyway I m quite excited, actually, to see a book taking place in the Restoration time period It s a period not generally covered by romance novels and it s an exciting period. On top of the interesting time period, this is simply a good book A bit on the long side although this is not a problem , this book takes the time to develop the relationship between Jason and Cait She also does quite a good job with This book, taking place in 1667, is Restoration, not Regency, but I m putting it here anyway I m quite excited, actually, to see a book taking place in the Restoration time period It s a period not generally covered by romance novels and it s an exciting period. On top of the interesting time period, this is simply a good book A bit on the long side although this is not a problem , this book takes the time to develop the relationship between Jason and Cait She also does quite a good job with the language and customs of the Restoration era The story is engaging, the characters are interesting, and it s an enjoyable and unique read

This is a fun Restoration historical romance, part two in a series, but able to stand alone if you tend not to follow whole series The Chase family characters are all adequately introduced, but the primary characters in this book are secondary in other books in the Restoration collection, which is the only one I have read so far Since I read both the original and the less lurid versions of Amythest, and found just a few extra details in each version, I found myself wondering in this book what This is a fun Restoration historical romance, part two in a series, but able to stand alone if you tend not to follow whole series The Chase family characters are all adequately introduced, but the primary characters in this book are secondary in other books in the Restoration collection, which is the only one I have read so far Since I read both the original and the less lurid versions of Amythest, and found just a few extra details in each version, I found myself wondering in this book what I might be missing from Emerald in this one, so I am now anxious to find a copy to compare with this collaborate version I read the beginning of Emerald in my volume of Amythest, so I am already puzzled Why is Caithren introduced as 17 in this version, the same age as Kendra, but 21 in Emerald Teenage brides were the norm in the 1660 s, so I can t see any reader angst on that score Perhaps that will become clear when I get access to the full version
