An amazing book about a young boy with a heart of gold Owen is five years old and is comfortable with not outwardly speaking He is comfortable with silence and befriends the married couple next door Fred and Lola accepts Owen as he is In return, Owen accepts their being taller than the average person A little skirmish occurs in the neigborhood that causes Owen to take a stand in defense of Fred and Lola.Highly recommend.

Owen grows up very quiet Everyone says he will speak when he gets ready The older he gets theworried some become One day giants move in down the street and Owen befriends them They spend alot of time together, but the neighborhood is not as accepting of his new friends Owen finally speaks up when the time is right Great story for standing up for whats right and accepting differences.

This book teaches that everything is not always what it seems When two big, scary looking giants move into the neighborhood, one little boy is the only one who got to know them without assuming they were mean and ate little children.
