If you are looking for a comprehensive, well written textbook on the history of educational law in the States, this is an excellent choice The Q A at the end of each opinion was thought provoking, the summary of the case context and significance were thorough yet concise, and the chapters were logically divided and organized I was happy to see they didn t just cover the Supreme Court and I do feel I have a muchconcrete and informed understanding of educational law in the United States.Sa If you are looking for a comprehensive, well written textbook on the history of educational law in the States, this is an excellent choice The QA at the end of each opinion was thought provoking, the summary of the case context and significance were thorough yet concise, and the chapters were logically divided and organized I was happy to see they didn t just cover the Supreme Court and I do feel I have a muchconcrete and informed understanding of educational law in the United States.Sadly, the 4th edition 2001 was the only edition I wanted to afford, so it didn t include updates on topics such as drug use and the First Amendment or limits to school searches that the Supreme Court tackle later on and I m sure are covered in the 2011 edition I highly recommend this textbook to anyone looking for an academic understanding of US ed law
